9 Best Netspend Load Locations Near Me

Getting a netspend card is easy. It is trying to figure where to load money on a netspend card, which creates a little stress. At least, it did for me when I first got my card which I needed to deposit a check on netspend. For awhile, I could not put money on the card, because I did not know where on earth to find netspend load locations.

I almost regretted getting the card. This is because at that point, I thought reloading it was going to be a burden rather than convenience. After all, a working class adult like me already has a lot of his plate. So, why add more stress to my life?

Well, the stress disappeared when I learned Netspend has more than 130,000 refill locations nationwide. Most of these places we pass daily on our way to work, classes or regular life events. That is how convenient it is.

Where Can You Load Money On A Netspend Card?

Most stores you go to for necessities- snacks, gas or last-minute condoms are netspend load money locations. Some are free and others may charge you a little fee to reload your card. Here is a list of these places below.

1. HEB

With its vast locations in the great state of Texas, this is one of my favorite stores to go load money on a netspend card. Do you know why?

It is free for a netspend refill. You will not be charged a fee to refill your card. If you are in Texas- particularly Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christ or Laredo, go to this netspend reload location. They will help you load your card.

2. Walmart

Walmart is one of the places I go to cash cashier’s checks. You can reload your netspend card at Walmart. Its financial representatives in most of its branches always make it easy for these kinds of transactions.

Sometimes, the queue may be a little long. Besides this, I encourage you go to the nearest location near you. This is because you can certainly find one in your city with more than 4616 Walmart stores.

Walmart Netspend Card Reloading Fee

A Walmart money center representative told me it costs $3.74 to reload your netspend card. It is how much Walmart usually charges to reload a debit card. I am not surprised though. Anyways, the representative advice is to take your card with you to the place.

3. Family Dollar

You can reload netspend card at Family Dollar. With its 7482 stores in the United States, you are going to find one around you. All you need is to give them your card and they will swipe it to load money into it.

What if you do not have a card with you?

You can just give Family Dollar the account and routing numbers that came with the card. As long as you know these numbers, you will be alright. Funds will be electronically sent to your Netspend card. Just know it will cost you $3.95 fee to reload a netspend card at Family Dollar.

4. CVS

CVS is a netspend reload location. How much does CVS charge to load a netspend card?

The pharmacy store will charge you a $3.95 reload fee to do that for you. All you need is the card and the cash amount you want to deposit. Be sure to have the fee in cash too. The cash requirement differs from store to store. I say to call first, before heading to a store location.

5. Walgreens

Walgreens lets you load money on a Netspend card. Unlike some other stores, it will ask you for an ID for verification before it loads the money for you. Be sure to take cash with you, since most qualifying store locations will ask for cash.

Does Walgreens Charge A Reload Fee?

Walgreens charges a netspend reload fee of $3.95. I would call a location before heading out though. This is because store policy may vary based on state regulations. I know for a fact it is $3.95 in my part of Texas.

6. Duane Reade

Duabe Reade stores are netspend reload locations in New York. You can also find them in some parts of New Jersey. A store location will charge you $3.95 to load your card. Be sure to take an ID and some cash for either amount you want loaded and the reload fee.

7. Circle K

Circle K is one of the gas station convenience stores I use to do money orders. Besides money orders, Circle K can load money into your netspend card. It will cost you $3.95 to do this transaction. Be sure to call before heading out. Some gas station convenience stores like Circle K only take cash for these types of transactions.

8. 7-Eleven

7-Eleven is a reliable netspend reload location. You can find it in most US cities, especially down south. The gas station will charge you $3.95 to load money into your netspend card.

9. Kroger

This is a netspend all access reload location. It is found in 35 states out of the 50 United States. Kroger has more than 2000 stores to meet this need.

How much does Kroger charge for a netspend refill?

It will cost you $3.95 for a netspend refill at Kroger. Take a legal form of identification with you. If you could, use cash for payment. Finally, call a store location before heading out to ask questions you have about a netspend card reload.

On the whole, there are thousands of other netspend reload centers in the United States. I cannot list them all here, but here is a Netspend Location Finder. All you need to do, is put in your zip-code, city or state. The location finder will show you all the available reload centers in your zip code, city or state.

Netspend Reload Nationwide Limits

How much can you load on a NetSpend card per day?

I do not think there is a specific limit on netspend card. This is because I got varying limits from two different netspend load locations. I spoke to a Walgreens’ cashier and she told me there is a $500 maximum limit on its card reloads.

Then, I spoke to Walmart money center. I was told I could only load up to $1000 on my netspend card at the money center. If you try to load the card at one of the cashier’s stand, you can only do $200. So, it has to be the Walmart money center to get up to $1000.

I recommend you activate your Netspend card first, before attempting to load money into it.

On the whole, I feel like it is better to just use the Netspend locator finder to find the closest reload store to you. This is because I really do not know where you are reading my article from. I can only hope one of the stores I use here is in your city. If you find one though, just be sure to call first to inquire about maximum limits or fees before heading out.
