What WeeklyBagel Podcast Hopes To Accomplish- Intro

Published On May 4, 2025 //  by Chime N.U |Last Updated: May 4, 2025 Editorial Disclosure: This article may contain affiliate links. WeeklyBagel may earn a commission at no cost to you. I only recommend products I believe in or that will simplify the lives of my readers

Hello there!

I am Chimé NU- the founder of WeeklyBagel, a professional brand that simplifies personal finance for young working class American adults.

This first episode is an introduction to what I hope to accomplish with this podcast and a story about me. You can read Why I started WeeklyBagel to get a grasp of where I am coming from. Where shall I begin?

I launched WeeklyBagel in 2020 during COVID-19 pandemic. I thought there were young adults like me struggling to survive the pandemic. This is especially those who had the anxiety I faced daily of losing my job at the period.

On this podcast, I hope to explore real life issues that plagued us- the American young working class adults. The WeeklyBagel podcast is not just simplifying personal finance, but also exploring decisions affect our annual salary and annual savings.

This is coming from a fellow young working class adult trying to figure it out with you. Having said that, here is what WeeklyBagel podcast hopes to accomplish.

1. Empower Young Listeners To Take Small Meaningful Steps

The WeeklyBagel podcast hopes to empower its listeners. Not by realistic promises of overnight wealth, but through small meaningful steps toward financial stability. This is because adulting does not come with a life manual.

Am I right?

So, we learn to navigate from others or through our mistakes. My podcast hopes to minimize these mistakes for a lot of young working class adults starting out. The podcast will champion progress over perfection. This is because societal expectations of the young working class does not take into account hurdles faced in the journey. You and I will explore issues we face with a practical and non-judgemental lens.

2. Deliver Actionable Bagel-sized Advice

I do not know about you, but jargons tend to fly over my head. As a result, I prefer keep it simple, practical and relatable. Whether it is 25 mins or 35 minutes answer to a listener question, each episode will be crafted with takeaways.

The goal is for my audience to listen to WeeklyBagel, when commuting or in lunch break. That way, they do not have to read the articles if they do not want to. This is since WeeklyBagel Podcast is designed to deliver snackable bagel-sized advice.

3. Build A Community, Not Just An Audience

I want to be able to track the progress of people my brand has helped. This is whether I helped you get a place of your own. Or, get a job where you are able to contribute positively and build the kind of life you want.

Sincerely speaking, it would be nice to hear progress. It is one thing for someone to read your article and not come back again. It is emotional rewarding, when they find something valuable on WeeklyBagel that makes them come back for me. In a way, it adds meaningfulness and brings more value to what WeeklyBagel podcast hopes to accomplish.

I am openminded to answering questions. I can be reached at [email protected]. Or, just shoot me a message through my Contact me form. It is a pleasure to meet you!
