Does Circle K Sell Money Orders?

Circle K sells money orders. Circle K is one of the gas stations that do money orders without stress involved. This is a convenient store located every a few blocks in any major United States city. There are about 6,618 Circle K stores in our country. So, chances are there is one close to you to walk in and buy a money order.

Not all Circle K’s do money orders, but most stores sell it. I always recommend calling a nearby location before heading over to purchase a money order. Having said that, here is what else you need to know about buying a money order at Circle K.

Circle K Money Order Cost

So, how much is a money order at Circle K?

The typical cost of a money order at Circle K ranges from $0.99 to $1.29. Money order at Circle K cost varies slightly from store to store. It is worthwhile to note you can only do a money order at Circle K using a cash payment.

You cannot get a money order at Circle K with a debit card. Circle K does not accept credit card for its money order purchase. The store will not accept other forms of non-cash payment like cashier’s check or checks. This policy is the same in all Circle K money order locations.

How You Fill Out A Circle K Money Order

A Circle K money order is a MoneyGram order. Like every other MoneyGram money order, it has three parts to it. The table below highlights what to do:

Circle K Money Order Limit

Circle K money order limit is $500 per money order. You cannot get more than this amount in a single money order, unless you purchase more than one. Here is what I mean.

You can get up to $2999 in money order at Circle K per day. However, it will not come as a single money order. You have to purchase individual orders that total to that amount.

In addition to doing this, you are going to pay the Circle K money order fee for each individual order more than $500. If you do not want to go through this process and expenses, there are places where you can get a money order easily. The blue highlighted places can offer you money orders of up to $4000 for a little fee.

Having said that, be sure to call a location before heading out. This is because some Circle K money order locations in some states will only let you buy up to $1999 per day. It helps to know this, before going over to do a money order.

What Time Does Circle K Stop Selling Money Orders?

Circle K stops selling money orders after 5pm. Typical business hours for money order transactions at the convenience store is from 7am to 5pm. This is the time range for guaranteed monetary services.

Please note that Circle K is open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. However, some locations may have a policy where you may not get a financial service after some certain time of the day. Usually, during the late hours of the day. So, be sure to call a branch to inquire about it.

Can You Cash Money Orders At Circle K Stores?

Circle K only does MoneyGram money order purchases. I mean Circle K sells money orders to you, but it will not cash a money order from you. This has been the store’s policy for a while.
